There are many ways to introduce students to primary scientific literature, but we recognize that it can be hard to know where to start. We’ve heard from educators that say, “We’ve found your resource and we’d love to use it … but can you give me some ideas?”
Well, here are some ideas. We hope these help!
Since launching in 2012, Science in the Classroom (SitC) has had over 500,000 visitors. Their general consensus? SitC is awesome! We often hear things like, "I will use SitC with my class!" "My students will understand primary scientific literature thanks to SitC!"
This past week, we proudly announced the publication of Science in the Classroom’s 100th annotated research paper.
It can be difficult to know where to turn for sound science, especially when it comes to hot-button scientific issues that are often infused with politics. Nowhere does this phenomenon ring more true than the science underlying climate change.
