Learning Goals

1. Connect specific content from SitC papers to the nature of science using relevant standards and science practices
2. Understand the structure and content of a complete SitC educator guide
3. Apply knowledge about excellence in pedagogy to develop discussion questions and classroom activities to accompany a SitC paper 

Summary

In Module Five: Introduction to SitC Educator Guides, trainees will read and learn about the four parts of an educator guide (EG): Learning Standards Alignment, Article Overview, Discussion Questions, and Activity Suggestions. There are no responses to be filled in--simply a read and watch training module. At the end, trainees are given instructions on completing one EG.
